Direct NOK2024 Shuttle from Helsinki Airport to Kuopio + public connections by train and bus on 5 August

We are pleased to extend a helping hand to ensure your smooth arrival to the upcoming NOK2024 congress in Kuopio!

NOK2024 hosts have organized a dedicated shuttle service to provide seamless transportation from Helsinki airport for registered/registering participants on the start date, August 5th.

If you’re arriving by plane to Helsinki airport and want to travel comfortably and fast to Kuopio on 5 August, we’ve got you covered!

The NOK2024 Shuttle offers direct coach transfer from the Helsinki airport to congress destination Kuopio on Monday 5 August.

You can book your seat on the Congress Shuttle Bus with the congress registration form.

BUS 1: Departure 5 August at 9:00 from Helsinki City Centre

BUS 4: Departure 5 August at 15:00 from Helsinki Airport  

The departure point in Helsinki City Centre (only the bus 1 dep. 9:00) is the charter bus stop at Rautatientori (which translates to ”Railway Square”), next to Helsinki Central Railway Station. The charter bus stop at Rautatientori is located on the street called Mikonkatu. Mikonkatu runs from the street Aleksanterinkatu to Rautatientori.

The exact departure point at the Helsinki airport is bus platforms 19-34, designated for charter buses, located at the bus station in front of the terminal. This platform also serves local and long-distance buses, making it relatively easy to find with airport signage.

Look for buses identified by NOK2024 logo side branding and illuminated signs at the front displaying ”Charter – NOK2024”.

While we are happy to facilitate the exclusive bus transport from Helsinki Airport to the congress venue on 5 August, please note that we will not be providing transport for the return journey. The decision is based on the availability of flights from Kuopio to Helsinki from 7 August on.
